Trails will remain closed for some time until the final few winter storms and the spring freeze/thaw cycle end. As things dry out, we will begin assessment on trail maintenance and any other pre-season projects that we wish to accomplish. Trails will likely be ready to ride in mid-to-late May.
As we get into a freeze/thaw cycle, we ask that you keep off trails until we can assess the conditon they will be in after this last period of snow. It will be warm this weekend, so it will be tempting to ride but please obey any closed signs that will be up. We will have a final call by the end of the day tomorrow.
Some much needed rain has finally come to our area! The trails will soak much of this up quickly and hopefully get us some nice riding for a bit. This of course means slippery leaves, rocks and roots, so take caution when out riding. We do not anticipate anything getting muddy or unrideable, but please practice good trail stewardship when out!
Great new trail system. Fun, beautiful ride, with a little bit of everything for all types of riders. But... A friendly recommendation is to add Signage. DIfficult to navigate with limited cell service and they don't have "You are Here" on any of the posted signs. Being a new trail system, I am sure it is in the works. ;)
